About the Artist
Nick Ashby
Nick Ashby is a Meanjin/Brisbane-based artist. He has a Master of Visual Arts (Research) from Griffith University, Queensland College of Art (2003).
He has exhibited extensively, and his work is held in private and public collections, including the University of Queensland Art Museum, Griffith University Art Museum, Redland Art Collection, Museum of Brisbane and Logan Art Collection.
He has received awards, including the Redland Art Award 2008, Bundanon Trust Residency, Artworkers Alliance Award 2008, and highly commended Sunshine Coast ArtPrize 2006.
