About the Artist
Kir Larwill
Kir Larwill’s creative pursuits encompass painting, drawing, and printmaking, spanning across a 20-year creative practice. Kir’s work is featured in both public and private collections, and Kir has been a finalist in numerous prestigious prizes, including the Banyule Works on Paper and Castlemaine Art Museum Experimental Print Prize in 2021 and 2023, the Waverley Art Prize 2023, the Mildura Triennale Print Prize, the Inkmasters 4th Biennial Print Exhibition, and the Swan Hill Print & Drawing Acquisitive Awards. In 2014, Kir co-founded Castlemaine Press, a community access printmaking studio, chaired its committee for seven years, and later co-founded Artpuff, a showing and making space in Castlemaine.
